The owner of any lot or parcel where anything in violation of this chapter is placed or exists, and any architect, builder or contractor who assists in the commission of any violation of any of the provisions of this chapter, and any person who violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter, is guilty of a minor misdemeanor and shall be sentenced in accordance with Section 698.02 for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation or noncompliance occurs or continues.
