(a) Any person affected by any notice and/or order, or other official action of the Floodplain Administrator, including a representative of the City, may timely file an appeal, in writing, signed by the applicant or applicant’s counsel, within fifteen days of the decision or mailing of the decision to the applicant pursuant to Section 1264.04. A hearing shall be granted on the matter before the Board of Zoning Appeals. In the Notice of Appeal, the applicant on appeal shall provide a brief statement of the grounds for such appeal and all other information required in Section 1264.04. Upon receipt of the appeal, the Floodplain Administrator shall transmit said notice and all pertinent information on which the Floodplain Administrator’s decision was made to the Board of Zoning Appeals.
(b) Upon receipt of the notice of appeal, the Board of Zoning Appeals shall fix a reasonable time for the appeal, give notice in writing to parties in interest, and decide the appeal within a reasonable time after it is submitted.
