The Building Commissioner may suspend or revoke any certificate of registration or renewal thereof issued under this chapter for any of the following reasons:
(a) Misrepresentation of any material fact by the applicant in obtaining any certificate of registration or the renewal thereof;
(b) Use of a certificate of registration to obtain permits for another person;
(c) Faulty or defective workmanship;
(d) Departure from or disregard of plans and/or specifications filed with an application for a building permit;
(e) Noncompliance with or violation of any provision of this Building Code or any other building, plumbing, electrical, sanitary or other code having application or effect therein; or
(f) Construction work of any type done on Sundays, unless written permission is received from the Building Commissioner.
No person shall do any work authorized by a certificate of registration when the same is suspended or revoked.
