1426.99 PENALTIES.
   Whoever violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter, including any provision of the Residential Code of Ohio for One-, Two-, and Three-Family Dwellings adopted in Section 1420.01, is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree and shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) or imprisoned not more than six months, or both, for each offense. Unless otherwise provided, a separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation or noncompliance occurs or continues.
