822.06 APPEALS TO COUNCIL.
   If an application for a license is rejected or if the Mayor revokes a license, the applicant for the license or the licensee shall be notified in writing of the reasons for rejection or revocation and shall have the right to appeal to Council. Council shall have the power, after full hearing, to confirm the rejection or revocation or order the license issued or the revocation suspended. In case of appeal the applicant shall, within ten days after receiving notice of rejection or revocation, give notice in writing of his or her intention to appeal at the office of the Director of Finance. Such appeal shall be set for hearing by the Director within ten days after such notice is filed.
