The area of the tree cutting operation shall be provided with a reasonable amount of seeding in order to preserve the cohesion of the surface of the ground in order to minimize the effect of erosion. Such seeding shall be subject to the approval of the Building Commissioner. This section shall not apply to property designated as an agricultural district pursuant to Ohio R.C. 929.02 upon proper verification by the Building Commissioner of such status. Said exempt properties shall follow best management practices (BMPs) as approved by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Forestry. Erosion control measures to be used shall be submitted to the Cuyahoga Soil and Water Conservation District (CSWCD) for review of compliance with ODNR Division of Forestry BMPs and, upon certification of compliance, shall be submitted to the City Engineering Department for approval.
