818.03 STUMP HEIGHT; REMOVAL OF FOLIAGE.
   The stump of each tree which is cut shall not exceed a height of 12 inches measured from the lowest side of the stump and the ground within 75 feet of road or lot lines, and all branches, foliage and debris resulting from such cutting shall be completely removed from the premises or disposed of as per the management plan. This section shall not apply to property designated as an agricultural district pursuant to Ohio R.C. 929.02 upon proper verification by the Building Commissioner of such status. Said exempt properties shall follow best management practices (BMPs) as approved by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Forestry, including removal of any timbering debris six inches in diameter or greater from any designated flood plain.
