Pursuant to 47 C.F.R. § 76.930(a), a cable operator shall file its schedule of rates for the basic service tier and associated equipment with the Staff within thirty days of receiving written notification from the Staff that the City has been certified by the FCC to regulate rates for the basic service tier. To comply with this provision, a cable operator must file a Form 393 regarding rates that were charged since September 1, 1993, or one year prior to the commencement of the City's rate regulation, whichever is the shorter period, and a second Form 393 regarding any proposed rate increases.
