258.01 ESTABLISHMENT; APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR.

Pursuant to Article IX of the City Charter, there is hereby established an Office on Aging and Human Services for the City. Such Office shall be headed by a Director who shall be qualified by previous experience and education in the field of aging and human resources. The Director shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by Council for a term of office to run concurrently with the Mayor's term of office.
