(a) In General. Operator and Plant Lab Technician Trainees shall perform such duties as are prescribed by the Superintendent of Waste Water Treatment, and/or any other supervisory personnel, or their designees, including assisting anywhere in the Waste Water Treatment Department when required to do so.
(b) Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities. Trainees shall be required to perform the same duties, on occasion, as Operators or Laborers, which may entail using ladders or entering confined spaces.
(c) Basic Qualifications. Trainees must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license issued by the State. Trainees must supply their own transportation to and from the job site, possess the same communicative abilities as Operators, both on and off the telephone, and be able to use a standard self-contained breathing apparatus.
