Membership in the Police Department shall terminate when a member has reached sixty-two years of age, upon his or her being found to be mentally or physically disabled to perform duties appropriate to his or her rank and office, upon resignation or upon dismissal in the manner and for the causes provided in the appropriate provisions of the Ohio Revised Code.
