A. Except as otherwise provided herein, no person licensed hereunder shall sell, permit to be sold, or give away any alcoholic liquor between the hours of twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight and nine o'clock (9:00) A.M. on Monday through Saturday and between the hours of twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight and ten o'clock (10:00) A.M. on Sundays. B. Closing hours for the operation of a class AL license issued a late closing permit shall be three o'clock (3:00) A.M. on Saturday and Sunday and two o'clock (2:00) A.M. on all other days.
C. Closing hours for the operation of a class A license facility shall be three o'clock (3:00) A.M. on Saturday and Sunday and twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight on all other days. (Ord. O-3-99, 4-5-1999)
D. The closing hours for persons holding a class C license shall be two o'clock (2:00) A.M. on Saturday and Sunday. (Ord. O-21-98, 4-20-1998)
E. Closing hours for the operation of a class D license shall be two o'clock (2:00) A.M. on Saturday and Sunday and twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight on all other days. (Ord. O-15-2009, 4-20-2009)
F. Closing hours for the operation of a class E and class E-1 license shall be one o'clock (1:00) A.M. on Saturday and Sunday and twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight on all other nights. (Ord. O-35-2008, 12-15-2008; amd. Ord. O-01-2022, 1-10-2022)
G. Closing hours for the operation of a class G licensed facility shall be one o'clock (1:00) A.M. on Saturday and Sunday and twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight on all other days. (Ord. O-08-2003, 4-7-2003; amd. Ord. O-26-2007, 8-6-2007; Ord. O-24-2008, 8-4-2008; Ord. O-35-2008, 12-15-2008)
H. During such prohibited hours of sale, every location, place or premises where alcoholic liquor may be sold at retail shall be kept closed, and no person other than the licensee shall be permitted to remain therein. All doors directly opening into or out of such location, place or premises for ingress thereto or egress therefrom shall be securely locked during the prohibited hours of sale. The provisions of this section relating to the closing of the premises and the locking of the doors shall not apply to bowling alleys, restaurants and hotels licensed as food dispensers nor to clubs, drugstores and delicatessen stores or holders of class B licenses who are also engaged in businesses other than the sale of alcoholic liquor.
I. All patrons and customers shall leave the premises not later than ten (10) minutes following the closing hours stipulated above, except in establishments which are full service restaurants in which the service of alcoholic beverages is incidental and complementary to the service of meals. In such establishments all alcoholic beverages must be removed from all service areas, tables, counters, bars, and the like within ten (10) minutes following the closing hours stipulated. (Ord. J. Closing hours for class A, AL, C, D, E, and G licenses shall be extended to two o'clock (2:00) A.M. on the following days: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. (Ord. O-25-2015, 12-21-2015)
