ORDINANCE NO. 0-29-92

THE NORTHLAKE CODE FOR 1992

WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Northlake, last adopted a City Code in 1979; and

WHEREAS, this Code has been amended, from time to time, by the enactment of various and sundry ordinances; and

WHEREAS, the Northlake Code of 1979 contains numerous and various sections which are either moot, conflicting, outdated or otherwise inconsequential; and

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Northlake has undertaken to review, re-edit and otherwise update the City Code of 1979;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTHLAKE, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:

      1.   That the Northlake Code of 1992, attached hereto and made a part hereof, is adopted as the Municipal Code of the City of Northlake.

      2.   That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances, or portions of any previous Municipal Code of the City of Northlake, in conflict with the terms of the Northlake Code of 1992, are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.

      3.   That three copies of the Northlake Code of 1992 shall be placed on file with the City Clerk of the City of Northlake.

      4.   That this Ordinance shall take effect after its passage, approval and publication according to the law.

ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL THIS 7TH DAY OF DECEMBER, 1992.
