3-3-3-1: LOCAL LIQUOR CONTROL COMMISSIONER DEFINED:
The mayor is hereby designated to be the local liquor control commissioner as defined in 235 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/4-2 of the liquor control act and shall be charged with the administration of the liquor control act and of such ordinances and resolutions relating to alcoholic liquor as may be enacted by the city council. The salary of the local liquor control commissioner shall be eight thousand dollars ($8,000.00). The mayor is hereby authorized to appoint the chief of police as deputy local liquor control commissioner. (Ord. O-05-91, 2-19-1991, eff. 5-1-1991; amd. 1992 Code)
