145.16.7 EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY POLICY.
   (a)    It is the policy of the Village of North Kingsville to assure that applicants for employment by the Village and employees of the Village are treated, as to their qualifications for employment, and during employment, without regard to their race, religion, sex, age, color or national origin. The position of the Village of North Kingsville with regard to this policy shall include employment, upgrading, demotion, transfer, recruitment, recruitment advertising, lay-off, termination, rates of pay, other forms of compensation, selection for training, selection for apprenticeship and on-the-job training. All supervisors of employees of the Village of North Kingsville have been advised of this Equal Employment Opportunity Policy.
 
   (b)    All advertisements for the recruitment of new employees shall contain the following statement: "An Equal Opportunity Employer." All employees involved in the recruitment procedure and review of applicants for employment shall be required to follow the Equal Opportunity Policy of the Village of North Kingsville. All personnel concerned with hiring, training and placement of employees have been advised of and shall be required to follow the Equal Employment Opportunity Policy. (Ord. O-91-041. Passed 12-2-91.)
