(a) The Street Commissioner shall be paid time and one-half for any hours worked over forty hours per week when the Mayor verifies and approves such overtime in writing.
(b) All Street Department employees shall be paid time and one-half for any hours worked over forty hours per week when the Street Commissioner declares such work to be necessary because of emergency conditions.

(c) For the purpose of determining whether or not overtime pay is due, paid holiday hours and paid vacation hours occurring during a specified week shall be considered as included, with the actual hours worked by an employee during such week, in the total hours worked in that week.

(d) The Foreman shall be paid time and one-half for any overtime hours worked when the Mayor verifies and approves the overtime in writing.
