The following schedule of recovery cost rates is hereby adopted by the Village for costs charged by the Village for its fire and rescue efforts involved in hazardous material incidents:
(a) Vehicle Costs.
(1) Fire vehicles:
A. Ladder | $ 200.00 per hour |
B. Engine | 150.00 per hour |
C. Ambulance/EMS | 50.00 per hour |
(2) Supply vehicles:
A. Air | $ 75.00 per hour |
B. Foam | 75.00 per hour |
C. Decon | 75.00 per hour |
(3) Staff vehicles:
A. Chief | $ 20.00 per hour |
B. Prevention | 20.00 per hour |
C. Staff | 20.00 per hour |
(4) Specia1 vehicles:
A. Field command | $ 100.00 per hour |
B. EMA-van | 100.00 per hour |
C. Light plant | 100.00 per hour |
D. Heated decon shower | 100.00 per hour |
(5) Public Works:
A. Dump truck | $ 75.00 per hour |
B. Heavy equipment | 100.00 per hour |
(b) Village Personnel Costs.
(1) On-duty personnel shall be charged at their full wages and benefits after the first two hours.
(2) Overtime personnel shall be charged at their full wages and benefits.
(c) Administrative Fee. An administrative fee shall be charged at ten percent of overall costs incurred.
(d) Equipment Repairs and Replacement. Equipment repairs and replacement will be charged at the full cost of said repair or replacement.
(e) Materials. Materials shall be charged at the replacement cost.
