(a) The Village of North Kingsville shall pay the cost of each member of the Village of North Kingsville Fire Department for Basic Fire and Basic EMT training on their first attempt at passing said training and a retaking of said training at least two years after the initial taking of the course.

(b) The Village shall pay the cost of training fire and rescue personnel for the Village, provided that such personnel agree to repay the cost of said training to the Village in the event that they do not remain in the employ of the Village fire or rescue squad for at least two years following the completion of said training.
