(a) Available funds shall be used for purposes of reimbursing members of the rescue squad for training in emergency medical techniques.
(b) Such reimbursement shall be in the amount of fifty percent of the cost of such training after six months of service has been completed after such training, and fifty percent of such cost after one year of service has been completed after such training.
