(a) All residents of the Village shall receive rescue service to any hospital in the County at no cost.
(b) All employees of commercial and industrial businesses located in the Village shall receive rescue service to any hospital in the County at no cost.

(c) Residents shall not be charged for any rescue service in the County and shall not be charged for emergency transfers outside the County. For nonemergency calls, residents shall pay a sum, per mile, one way, as determined from time to time by Council.

(d) The following fees shall be charged for rescue services, effective as of January 1, 2003:

(e) The policy of the Village collection and write off of accounts receivable for the rescue services performed by the Fire Department, Rescue Division, of the Village shall be as follows:
Any accounts receivable for rescue services that are over six months old and total less than five hundred dollars ($500.00) for which no current address can be established with reasonable diligence for the debtor shall be written off.

(f) Commencing on March 1, 2009, eighty percent (80%) proceeds received for rescue services provided by the Fire Department shall be placed in the General Fund; and, the remaining twenty percent (20%) shall remain in the Rescue Fund.
