The Fire Department shall consist of one Fire Chief and such other officers and personnel as determined from time to time by Council. The Department shall, at its first meeting in April of each year, elect from its members one Assistant Chief, one Secretary and one Treasurer, and it may, by its bylaws or rules, create such other duties as it may desire.
