Any employee may file a written request with the fiscal officer of the Village to have a portion of their accumulated sick leave transferred to another Village employee that has eliminated or is about to eliminate all of their personal sick leave. No transferred sick leave may be accumulated by the receiving employee toward retirement benefits.
