The Board of Trustees shall consist of the Village President and six (6) Trustees, who shall be citizens of the United States, qualified electors and shall have resided in the Village at least one year next preceding the election. They shall hold office for four (4) years, three (3) Trustees to be elected every two (2) years, and until their successors are elected and qualified, unless otherwise provided by law.
