(A) Any person violating any provision of this Traffic Code, for which no other penalty is provided, shall be subject to the penalty provisions of § 10.99.
(B) (1) Any violation of the provisions of §§ 70.15 through 70.19 or the provisions of G.S. § 20-158, shall be punishable by a fine of $50 for each such offense, unless some other, greater fine or penalty is provided by the General Statutes of North Carolina applicable to violations of G.S. § 20-158, in which case, such greater fine or penalty shall apply.
(2) Except as provided in division (B)(1) above, violation of any other provisions of §§ 70.15 through 70.21 shall be punishable by a fine of $10; provided, however, that if a violator shall appear at the Town Hall within 48 hours of the violation and pay a penalty of $5, there shall be no fine imposed.
