(a) Computerized Sweepstakes Devices. The fee for each computerized sweepstakes device license shall be fifty dollars ($50.00) per device, per month.
(b) Sweepstakes Terminal Cafe. The fee for a sweepstakes terminal cafe shall be five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) per year. No license shall be issued or renewed prior to the payment of said fee.
(c) Replacement License. The fee for a replacement license shall be fifteen dollars ($15.00).
(d) Filed With Application. All license fees under this chapter shall be filed with the application for license, or upon renewal, as applicable.
(e) Return of Fee. In the event an application is denied under this chapter, one-half of the license fee therefore shall be returned to the applicant. In the event any license is suspended or revoked under this chapter, no portion of the license fee shall be returned to the owner.
(f) Deposit of Fees. License fees shall be deposited in the 281 Fund (Police Salary) and will be used, as applicable, in the implementation and enforcement of this chapter.

(g) Payment. Any and all fees under this Section 721.13 shall be due and owing as of January 1st of each year and shall be paid in full for the full year of licensure as of that date. In the event that any licensee had made any overpayment or has previously paid any portion of the license fee for the ensuing year, such amounts will be applied against the licensee’s license fees which shall be reduced thereby, but said amounts/fees shall still be due and owing as of January 1st. Any licensee acquiring their license at any time after January 1st of any year shall pay a prorated amount of the Sweepstakes Terminal Café license fee required under subsection (b) hereof. Failure to pay fees within thirty (30) days of the date on which such fees are due and owing may result in suspension or revocation of any license granted hereunder pursuant to the terms and provisions of Codified Ordinance Section 721.12.
