§ 157.137 C2 GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT.
   (A)   Purpose statement. This district is intended to provide for the majority of retail and business needs of the town except for highway oriented business activity centers and small scale neighborhood shopping districts.
   (B)   General requirements. All development in the C2 District shall be subject to the following general requirements:
      (1)   Site plan review;
      (2)   All business, servicing, storage or processing, except such off-street parking, loading, drive-in facilities and open storage as are specifically authorized herein, shall be conducted within completely enclosed buildings;
      (3)   Notwithstanding division (B)(2), open storage of materials and equipment shall be permitted in the C-2 District subject to the following limitations:
         (a)   The storage area must be enclosed by a solid wall or opaque fence not less than 72 inches in height;
         (b)   No equipment or material shall be stored having a greater height than that of the wall or opaque fence enclosure; and [MISSING TEXT]
   (C)   Permitted uses. The following uses are permitted in the C2 District:
      (1)   Accessory uses;
      (2)   Amusement and recreation buildings;
      (3)   Amusement arcades;
      (4)   Antique shops and galleries;
      (5)   Art gallery and artist studio;
      (6)   Auction rooms, house;
      (7)   Auditorium or arena, indoor;
      (8)   Auto service stations;
      (9)   Ballrooms and dance halls;
      (10)   Bar, tavern, lounge;
      (11)   Barber shops;
      (12)   Beauty shops;
      (13)   Broadcast media studio (no tower);
      (14)   Bowling alleys;
      (15)   Business services;
      (16)   Carpet cleaning without plant;
      (17)   Catering;
      (18)   Churches, temples, synagogues;
      (19)   Computer services;
      (20)   Copying shops and quick print shops;
      (21)   Cultural facilities;
      (22)   Day care centers;
      (23)   Department stores;
      (24)   Design studios;
      (25)   Detective agency, no dogs;
      (26)   Diaper service;
      (27)   Dog grooming;
      (28)   Dry cleaners;
      (29)   Financial institutions;
      (30)   Financial institutions with drive-up;
      (31)   Florist;
      (32)   Funeral home, chapel, services;
      (33)   Gasoline stations;
      (34)   Halfway houses;
      (35)   Hardware, plumbing, heating equipment and supplies;
      (36)   Health centers;
      (37)   Hotels and motels
      (38)   Job training, vocational rehabilitation service;
      (39)   Laundry collecting and dist. outlets;
      (40)   Laundry, coin operated;
      (41)   Libraries;
      (42)   Locksmith;
      (43)   Lumber yards, building supply stores, garden supplies;
      (44)   Mail order houses;
      (45)   Medical and dental laboratories;
      (46)   Meeting, assembly hall;
      (47)   Membership organization: meeting hall, refreshments;
      (48)   Miscellaneous repair shops: see exceptions;
      (49)   Motion picture theaters;
      (50)   Multi-household residences;
      (51)   Museums and art galleries;
      (52)   Offices, business, government, professional;
      (53)   Offices, medical, dental;
      (54)   Parking lot, garage, public;
      (55)   Pet shops;
      (56)   Photo studio;
      (57)   Photo finishing lab;

      (59)   Printing, blueprinting operation;
      (60)   Radio, TV stations, no tower;
      (61)   Repairs: electrical, refrigeration;

      (75)   Schools: vocational, no exterior classes;

      (80)   Banquet hall, reception hall, conference center, event facility.
   (D)   Conditional uses. The following conditional uses may be permitted in the C2 District:
      (1)   Dry cleaning plants;
      (2)   Equipment rental, leasing;
      (3)   Local transit operation, service facilities;
      (4)   Planned unit developments;
      (5)   Public safety buildings;
      (6)   Retail: video sales, rentals;
      (7)   Taxi operations;
      (8)   Taxidermist;
      (9)   Veterinarian’s office-household pets; and
      (10)   Beer garden.
   (E)   Development area.

   (G)   Building height. No building in the C2 District shall exceed 45 feet in height.
   (H)   Off-street parking and loading. The parking and loading requirements for the C2 District shall be as specified in §§ 157.181 and 157.182.
   (I)   Landscaping and screening. The landscaping and screening requirements for the C2 District shall be as specified in § 157.065.
   (J)   Sign regulations. The sign regulations for the C2 District shall be as specified in §§ 157.195 through 157.218 .
   (K)   Site plan acceptance. In accordance with § 157.039
