(A) Sewer billings issued in the months of May, June, July, August and September shall be calculated on an adjusted water usage figure based upon the average monthly water usage for the immediately preceding months of November, December, January, February, March and April as set forth in division (B).
(B) The water usage figure used for billings issued in each of the months set out in division (A) shall be calculated as follows:
(1) The actual water usage for each of the immediately preceding months of November, December, January, February, March and April, including any adjustments approved in accordance with § 51.082 below, shall be determined, added together, and then divided by six to obtain the average monthly water usage for those months.
(2) The average obtained shall be the water usage figure upon which the customer’s sewer bill will be calculated for each of the months of May, June, July, August and September.
(3) For new, relocated, or other customers who do not have a usage history for any of the months of November, December, January, February, March and/or April, the usage amount of 6,500 gallons shall be used for any such month or months for purposes of this calculation.
(C) The sewer billings issued in October, November, December, January, February, March and April shall be based on actual water used based upon the meter readings supplied by the water companies.
(D) The summer sewer rates provided for in this section shall apply only to residential sewer customers.
