§ 93.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of §§ 93.01 et seq., the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   AIRPORT. The Newberry Airport.
   AIRPORT SAFETY AREA ENFORCEMENT OFFICER. The county official charged with the enforcement of §§ 93.01 et seq.
   CENTERPOINT. The airport tower or other midpoint established within the airport property from which the radius for the Airport Safety Area is extended.
   HAZARD TO AIR NAVIGATION. An obstruction determined by the Federal Aviation Administration, South Carolina Department of Commerce/Division of Aeronautics, or county
enforcement officials to a have a substantial adverse effect on the safe and efficient utilization of navigable airspace.
   HEIGHT. Altitude based on mean sea level data for purposes of determining the height limits enforced under §§ 93.01 et seq.
   OBSTRUCTION. Any structure growth, or other object, including a mobile object, which exceeds a limiting height set forth in §§ 93.01 et seq.
   PERMIT. A document issued by Newberry County allowing a person to being an activity which
may result in any structure's or vegetation's exceeding the height limitations provided for in §§ 93.01 et seq., or which would be incompatible with air navigation.
   PERSON. An individual, firm, partnership, corporation, company, association, joint stock association, or governmental entity. The term includes a trustee, a receiver, and assignees, or a similar representative of any of them.
   STRUCTURE. Any object, including a mobile object, constructed or installed by any person, including, but not limited to, buildings, towers, cranes, smokestacks, earth formations, overhead transmission lines, flag poles, and ship masts.
   VEGETATION. Any object of natural growth.
