(A) No electricity shall be furnished to a new consumer until the meter has been connected.
(B) (1) A deposit as listed in the approved city fee schedule is required from the applicant before electric service connection.
(2) All applicable rates, charges, and fees listed in the Council approved city fee schedule will be applied to a consumer once service is connected.
(C) (1) In the event that the city disconnects any consumer for failure to pay his or her electric bill, the disconnection shall terminate the pre-existing consumer-city relationship.
(2) In the event that the person whose service has been disconnected desires to purchase electricity again from the city, he or she shall be treated as a new consumer and subject to all of the applicable rates, fees, charges, and deposits as listed in the Council approved city fee schedule.
(D) For any service after regular working hours, the charges will be based on the time and materials required by the utility personnel to perform the service requested.
