8-2-12: FINES:
   A.   The civil and criminal provisions of this chapter shall be enforced by the city marshal or other law enforcement officers. It shall be a violation of this chapter to interfere with, hinder, molest or abuse any officer in the exercise of such powers.
   B.   Any owner or keeper of a dog who knowingly permits the existence of a nuisance as declared in section 8-2-3 of this chapter or who violates any provision of this chapter, and upon conviction, shall be subject to a fine of not less than thirty five dollars ($35.00) for the first offense, seventy five dollars ($75.00) for the second offense, and for each offense thereafter, double the amount of the previous fine.
   C.   Any person other than the owner or keeper who shall remove a tag from any dog or shall entice or decoy any dog out of any house or enclosed premises shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be subject to a fine of not less than thirty five dollars ($35.00) nor more than seventy five dollars ($75.00).
