§ 92.073 EXCEPTIONS TO RESTRICTIONS ON OPEN BURNING.
   Open burning within the city shall be permitted under the following circumstances:
   (A)   Outdoor burning in connection with the preparation of food;
   (B)   Campfires and fires used solely for recreational purposes or ceremonial occasions;
   (C)   Fires set for the purposes of training public or private firefighting personnel;
   (D)   Fires set or required by a public officer for the abatement of nuisances and which are necessary in carrying out public health functions; and
   (E)   Fires set to dispose of landscape waste upon the premises where it is produced, subject to the following:
      (1)   When started after 10:00 a.m. and extinguished by sunset on Wednesdays and Saturdays only;
      (2)   When located on private property after receiving the consent of the owner or person in charge of the property;
      (3)   When located at least 20 feet from any structure;
      (4)   When continually attended by a competent person until extinguished, and
      (5)   When the Fire Chief has not prohibited fire due to atmospheric or other hazardous conditions at the proposed location of such fire.
