§ 91.001 BARBED WIRE FENCES.
   (A)   Building or maintaining prohibited. It is unlawful for any person or persons to erect, build, or maintain a barbed wire fence upon or along any sidewalk, public street, or alley within the corporate limits of the city.

   (B)   Declared nuisance; removal required; city to perform work; costs.
      (1)   Any barbed wire fence which has been erected upon or along any sidewalk, public street, or alley within the city is declared a nuisance, and the owner or parties erecting the same shall be notified in writing by the Chief of Police to remove the same.
      (2)   After 30 days from the date specified in the notice for the removal of said fence, the Chief of Police of the city shall proceed to remove the same at the expense of such party or parties.
