§ 90.01 RUNNING AT LARGE; DOGS.
   (A)   Allowing to run at large deemed unlawful. It is unlawful for any person or persons to allow any dog to run at large within the city.

   (B)   Running at large; impoundment authorized; notice required; disposition. It is the duty of the Chief of Police or any other person authorized by the City Council to take all dogs running at large within the corporate limits of the city and impound the same for ten days. Upon impounding any dog, a notice thereof shall be posted at the City Hall and a copy thereof mailed to the owner or owners, if known. All dogs that have been impounded for more than ten days shall be killed or otherwise disposed of by the person impounding them.

   (C)   Running at large; unable to capture; killing authorized. Any dog running at large which the officers are unable to capture shall be killed in the most convenient and expeditious manner.
