(a) The following fines are hereby established for parking violations within the City with exception to Section 351.12:
(1) Overtime parking fine: $10.00 on the first offense within one year; $20.00 on the second offense within one year; and $50.00 on the third offense within one year;
(2) Illegal parking fine: $10.00 on the first offense within one year; $20.00 on the second offense within one year; and $50.00 on the third offense within one year;
(3) Violation of handicap parking: $250.00;
(4) Fines paid later than seventy-two hours, but before the lapse of seven days, shall pay five ($5.00) dollars in addition to what has been stated in subsection (a)(1), (2) or (3) hereof, unless the offender appears in accordance with Section 353.03(b).
(b) Offenders who do not pay or appear within seven days of issuance of the citation, and who were not personally served with a citation, thereafter shall receive a summons to appear in a court of appropriate jurisdiction, issued by that court, and shall be subject to the penalty provided in Section 353.99.
(c) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, and with notice, persons who fail to appear in the court of appropriate jurisdiction upon service of a summons shall have their operators license canceled pursuant to Ohio R.C. 2935.27.
