If any owner of property abutting the planting strip in which a violation has occurred or exists fails to correct or remedy the violation in accordance with the notice, the Code Enforcement Officer is authorized to employ necessary assistance and correct or remedy the violation. The City Forester shall prepare an itemized statement of all expenses incurred by the City, including an administrative overhead cost assessment, and shall mail a copy thereof to the owner demanding payment within twenty (20) days of the date of mailing. Such statement shall be deemed delivered when mailed by certified mail and addressed to the address of the property owner as last shown on the records of the Salt Lake County Assessor. (Ord. 17-30)
