9.18.010: DISCHARGE OF FIREARMS WITHIN THE CITY:
   A.   It is unlawful for a person to discharge any type of firearm defined in section 76-10-501 of the Utah Code within the limits of the City, except:
      1.   In lawful and necessary self-defense or defense of others;
      2.   In the case of any peace officer, in the discharge of duty; or
      3.   When target shooting at an approved gun range.
   B.   A violation of this section is a Class B misdemeanor. (Ord. 17-25)
