§ 73.99 PENALTY.
   It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, corporation, or other legal entity to violate or fail to comply with any provision of this chapter. Where no specific penalty is provided therefor, the violation of any provision of this chapter shall be deemed a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine not less than twenty-five dollars ($25), nor more than five-hundred dollars ($500), or imprisonment for a term not exceeding twelve (12) months or by both the fine and imprisonment. However, the fine, forfeiture or penalty for a violation of this chapter shall not be less than the fine, forfeiture or penalty imposed by any state statute for the same offense.
