(a) Council intends to preserve and maintain the remaining brick streets within the City of Mount Vernon, Ohio.

The construction of new, or reconstruction of existing, signalized intersections where pedestrian signal units control the crossing of pedestrians within a marked crosswalk, shall include accessible pedestrian signals, which if applicable, conform to the requirements of the latest edition of the Ohio Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices. Any deviation must be approved by the City Engineer or their designee.
