Each and every elected official of the City shall receive, without charge to him or his office, one copy of the Codified Ordinances. However, each and every such elected official shall, before receiving his copy of the new Codified Ordinances, register same with the Clerk of Council in accordance with and pursuant to the procedures established by the Clerk as set forth in Section 113.01. Each and every such elected official shall, upon leaving office, deliver to the Clerk his or her copy of the Codified Ordinances before leaving such office.
