Loading spaces shall be provided according to the following classifications:
(a) Commercial
(1) Building area 750 square feet or less: No space required.
(2) Building area 750 square feet to 2,500 square feet: One Class B space.
(3) Building area 2,500 square feet to 10,000 square feet: One Class A space and one Class B space.
(4) Building area over 10,000 square feet: One Class A space and One Class B space, plus additional Class A space per 10,000 square feet above 10,000 square feet.
(b) Industrial. One Class A space per 10,000 square feet of floor area.
(c) Offices.
(1) Building constructed specifically to house professional activities, as defined in Chapter 1152 of this code, are exempt from loading space requirements.
(d) Institutional, to exclude churches
(1) Building area less than 10,000 square feet: One Class B space.
(2) Building area 10,000 square feet to 20,000 square feet: One Class A space, or two Class B spaces.
(3) Building area above 20,000 square feet: One Class A space or two Class B spaces plus one additional Class A space per 10,000 square feet above 20,000 square feet.
(e) Restrictions on Loading Spaces.
(1) A loading space may occupy all or any part of any required side or rear yard but no loading or unloading shall occur in a front yard.
(2) No loading space shall be located closer than fifty feet to any other lot in any residential district.
