(A) No person shall bring into, have, or keep in any park, any cat or other animal destructive of bird life, nor shall any person bring into or permit within the City Park, any dog. Dogs shall be permitted within Heritage Park, and the Forest Avenue Nature Preserve but must remain on leashes at all times and owners are responsible for cleaning up after all dogs.
(B) This section shall not be applicable to the presence within the park of animals assisting handicapped persons (as, for example, seeing-eye dogs), nor to police dogs on patrol.
