§ 96.22 ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES IN CITY PARKS PROHIBITED.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to consume any beer or intoxicating liquor, or have possession of an open container of beer or intoxicating liquor, in any city park.
   (B)   This prohibition may be waived for community events such as the July Fireworks Celebration, park dances, community group fundraisers, and other events by issuance of a special permit by the Mayor, subject to such written criteria as shall be established by the Mayor. Such permit may be revoked by the Mayor if any criteria are violated or unmet, or for any other abuse of the privilege granted.
