§ 99.28 TOWN RETAINS CONTROL OF PUBLIC WAYS.
Nothing in this subchapter shall be construed as to limit the town in the control of its public ways, streets and sidewalks during the work of the license. The licensee shall comply with instructions of the town as to the timing of excavation construction, providing access over the excavation, and other matters relating to the excavation and resurfacing, even though not set forth in the permit. If the license holder shall not promptly comply with such instructions, the town may perform the same and the cost thereof to the town shall be due as provided under § 99.26.
