(A) Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists enforcement of any of the provisions of this chapter shall be fined in accordance with the table in § 90.05. Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists enforcement of any of the provisions of this chapter (other than as set forth in § 90.05) shall be fined not less than $25 and no more than $500) for each offense. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
(B) The Sheriff, or his or her deputy, may cite a person, firm or corporation for violation of this chapter and issue that person, firm or corporation notice of the violation. Any fine for violation of this chapter may be paid within ten days after receiving notice of a violation at the County Sheriff’s Department. Any fines which are not paid within ten days of receipt of the notice of violation may be referred to the County Attorney or County Prosecutor for prosecution in the County Superior or Circuit Court or other court of competent jurisdiction.
(C) All fines collected by the County Sheriff’s Department under this chapter shall be forwarded by the Sheriff’s Department to the County Treasurer for deposit in the General Fund.
