§ 10.24.010 DESIGNATED.
   (A)   The use of all streets within the city is prohibited by any vehicle exceeding a gross weight of 6,000 pounds, except upon the truck routes specified in § 10.24.010(B). A vehicle in excess of 6,000 pounds up to a maximum of 14,000 pounds, including its load, may utilize the streets and portions of streets designated as truck routes. Except as otherwise provided in § 21101 et seq. and §§ 35701 et seq. of the California Vehicle Code, no vehicle in excess of 14,000 pounds, including its load, shall utilize the streets and portions of streets designated as truck routes.
   (B)   The specified portions of the following public streets are hereby designated as “truck routes.”
      (1)   Central Avenue (north frontage road along the Foothill Freeway) from the Foothill Freeway on- ramp (approximately 200 feet west of Myrtle Avenue) to Mountain Avenue;
      (2)   Duarte Road from the westerly city limits to the easterly city limits;
      (3)   Evergreen Avenue (south frontage road along the Foothill Freeway) from the Foothill Freeway off- ramp (approximately 200 feet west of Myrtle Avenue) to Mountain Avenue;
      (4)   Foothill Boulevard from the westerly city limits to Mountain Avenue;
      (5)   Huntington Drive between the westerly city limits and the easterly city limits;
      (6)   Mountain Avenue between Foothill Boulevard to Duarte Road;
      (7)   Myrtle Avenue between Huntington Drive and the southerly city limits;
      (8)   Peck Road from Live Oak Avenue to the southerly city limits.
