§ 804.02 ISSUANCE OF LICENSES; RENEWALS.
   (a)   The Mayor or his or her designee is hereby authorized to issue licenses to owners and exhibitors of coin-operated mechanical or electrically operated amusement devices, upon compliance with the requirements set forth in this chapter, including coin-operated pool or billiard tables, commonly known as “skill pool” tables. No such license shall be issued to any applicant unless the Mayor or his or her designee has found that such applicant is of good moral character. The lack of such qualification on the part of the applicant shall be deemed grounds for denial or revocation of such license by the Mayor or his or her designee.
   (b)   Licenses may be renewed for one year upon reapplication and payment of the fees established in § 804.04 and upon a finding of past compliance with the provisions of this chapter.
