155.01 ESTABLISHED.

   There is hereby established a Litter Control Board by the Municipality, for the purpose of advising Council and other Municipal officers in the development and implementation of the local litter control program.

155.02 MEMBERS.

   (a)   The local Litter Control Board shall be composed of five members to be appointed by the Mayor and to be approved by Council.

   (b)   The members of the Litter Control Board shall be appointed from the following representative agencies, organizations or Municipal departments.

      (1)   One member to be appointed from Council, or be the Administrator or be the Mayor.

      (2)   One member to be a law enforcement official from the Police Division.

      (3)   One member to be a public education official from the School Board or from the local school administration staff or teaching staff.

      (4)   Two members to be appointed from the public at large representing industry or labor, or commerce, agriculture, conservation, youth groups, civic groups or religious organizations or the media.

   (c)   The members of the Litter Control Board shall serve at the pleasure of Council.
