(a) Prior to beginning operation of a golf cart, the owner must present the golf cart to the Village of Minerva Police Department. The Chief of Police or his designate shall inspect the golf cart to ensure its compliance with Section 379.03. Upon inspection, the owner will present proof of insurance for the golf cart. For the purpose of the inspection, the Police Department will utilize the Golf Cart/under speed Vehicle Inspection Sheet. After inspection, the Police Department shall maintain a record of all golf carts inspected.
(b) Inspection fees to be set by the Village of Minerva are twenty-five dollars ($25.00).
(c) The golf cart owner will take the approved inspection sheet to a BMV office and obtain a Certificate of Title and License Plates.
