A. Skateboard operators shall have all the rights and shall be subject to all of the duties applicable to nonskateboard pedestrians as set forth in the Illinois vehicle code, being 625 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/1-100 to 5/20-101, as amended from time to time. (Ord. 967, 8-7-1989; amd. 2011 Code)
B. The operator of a skateboard has the status of a pedestrian but shall yield the right of way to all vehicular and to all other pedestrian (nonskateboard) traffic. (Ord. 967, 8-7-1989)
