A. The streets and avenues, and parts of streets and avenues, of the village designated by this section as yield streets or yield avenues are hereby declared to be yield streets and yield avenues. The driver of a vehicle traveling on a yield street or yield avenue shall grant the privilege of the immediate use of the intersecting roadway to traffic within the intersection and to vehicles approaching from the right or left so closely as to constitute a hazard, but when the roadway is clear, may proceed into the intersection.
